            Baseball Recap: Altoona Mountain Lions vs. Mifflin County Huskies        
        
		
        
        
            Altoona posted their closest  victory since March 27th on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Mifflin County Huskies by a score of  3-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). This was a revenge game for the Mountain Lions: when they faced off against the Huskies  on April 1st, they had to take a  6-2  loss.

 The team  relied heavily on  Gavin Albright, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs and one  double. He has become a key player for Altoona: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 4-5 otherwise.
With the  win, Altoona broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-5. As for Mifflin County,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 4-3.

The Mountain Lions will  take on  Chambersburg  at 4:15  p.m.  on Monday with a big rank  advantage  (79 vs. 357). Meanwhile,  Mifflin County (ranked 38th) will meet Greater Latrobe (ranked 140th)  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Huskies 2.9, the Wildcats 4) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
