Basketball Game Preview: Baltic Bulldogs vs. Lennox Orioles

Baltic hasn't had much luck against Lennox recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Baltic Bulldogs will challenge the Lennox Orioles at 6:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Baltic came up into this matchup off a tough 30-point defeat on Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Garretson by a score of 37-35 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Meanwhile, Lennox faced Elk Point-Jefferson in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Lennox was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 45-44 to Elk Point-Jefferson. The Orioles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Baltic's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Lennox, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.

Baltic was taken down by Lennox 73-34 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Baltic avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
