Softball Recap: Shiprock Comes Up Short

After flying high against Sandia Prep on Wednesday, Shiprock came back down to earth. Shiprock came up short against Sandia Prep on Wednesday, falling 18-3. The matchup marked the Chieftains' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Shiprock's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Sandia Prep, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shiprock will venture away from home to square off against Hozho Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sandia Prep, they will challenge Ruidoso at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
