The matchup between Norcom and Booker T. Washington on Thursday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Greyhounds skirted past the Mighty Bookers 10-9. The Greyhounds haven't had any issues with the Mighty Bookers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

The victory was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Booker T. Washington, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Norcom and Booker T. Washington will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Greyhounds see the field they'll take on Norview at 4:30 p.m. on the 14th. As for Booker T. Washington, their break will end when they face Churchland at 4:30 p.m. on the 14th.
