Softball Recap: Rock Hill Takes a Loss

Rock Hill lost against Prosper back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Blue Hawks came up short against the Eagles, falling 22-10. The Blue Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aliyana Sanchez led a balanced group of hitters, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Madelyn Kerrigan, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI.

Rock Hill's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Prosper, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.

Rock Hill will square off against McKinney Boyd at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Hawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Broncos have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season. As for Prosper, they will face off against Plano at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season.
