Lakeside won the last time they faced Colville and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles walked away with a 15-12 victory over the Indians. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Aleya Sturm and Lily Taylor were major factors while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Sturm tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Meanwhile, Taylor pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and seven unearned) runs off six hits. Sturm has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. At the plate, Sturm went 2-for-4 with three RBI, while Taylor went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one run. Those two doubles gave Taylor a new career-high.

In other batting news, Avery Austin was incredible, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Tambre Hill, who went 2-for-5 with one home run and two RBI.
