Mitchell had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They secured a 42-38 W over the Roosevelt Rough Riders. That's two games straight that the Kernels have won by exactly four points.

Mitchell's record is now 9-2. As for Roosevelt, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mitchell will take on Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Mitchell surely won't give up without a fight. As for Roosevelt, they will head out on the road to square off against Jefferson at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Roosevelt is facing Jefferson at the right time seeing as Jefferson is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
