Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Sadie Avery stepped things up a notch to give Newsome the 'W'. Avery threw for 219 yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 63 yards, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in passing touchdowns.

Avery and Newsome will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Robinson at 7:30 p.m. on March 25th. Avery will face off against Haidyn Spano, the Knights' star QB.
