Soccer Recap: Moore Haven Takes a Loss

Moore Haven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Glades Day Gators. That's two games in a row now that the Terriers have lost by exactly two goals.

Moore Haven was without their leading scorer, Ryan Peet, in Wednesday's match. With Peet sitting this one out, Aracely Delgado got some extra time on the pitch (80 vs. her season average of 52.9).

Moore Haven's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Glades Day, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7.

Moore Haven didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-2 defeat against Avon Park on the 9th. Glades Day has also already played their next game, a 7-0 victory against Pahokee on the 9th.
