Bishop Manogue put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 15-5 margin over the Galena Grizzlies. Winning may never get old, but Bishop Manogue sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Trella Springman was incredible, going 2-for-4 with a home run, five RBI, and three runs. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Sheldon, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3.
On Galena's side, Jordan Gurney made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with a triple, a run, and an RBI. Ella Smith was another key contributor, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with an RBI.
Bishop Manogue has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season.
