Football Recap: Jennings County Panthers vs. Seymour Owls
Jennings County lost against Seymour back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers were dealt a 44-7 loss at the hands of the Owls. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Traysean Hawkins was his usual excellent self, rushing for 167 yards and a pair of scores on only 15 carries, while also picking up 79 receiving yards and one touchdown for Seymour. The dominant performance also gave Hawkins a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two). Max Coates was another key player, throwing for 149 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 81.2% of his passes.

Coming up, Jennings County will square off against Floyd Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
