Owensboro Catholic is 8-2 against Trinity since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Aces will head out to square off against the Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Trinity took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Owensboro Catholic, who comes in off a win.

Owensboro Catholic took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Reavis 7-5.

Meanwhile, Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to Franklin.

Trinity saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Hatfield, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Owensboro Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.

Everything went Owensboro Catholic's way against Trinity in their previous matchup back in May of 2022, as Owensboro Catholic made off with a 15-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Aces since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
