North Crowley waltzed into their matchup on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Montgomery Catholic Knights.

Brooklyn Peoples paced North Crowley's offense, picking up ten kills. Peoples got some help from Abrielle Johnson and her 26 assists. Johnson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

North Crowley's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Montgomery Catholic, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

North Crowley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Oxford on the 23rd. As for Montgomery Catholic, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Jasper on the 23rd.
