Football Recap: Muncy Comes Up Short

Muncy played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Athens Wildcats and fell 41-14. The Indians were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 20-0.

Although Muncy took the loss, they still got scores from Carter Feigles and Jaxson Thomas.

Muncy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season. As for Athens, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Muncy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 24-21 loss against Hughesville on the 24th. As for Athens, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 57-0 win against Sayre on the 24th.
