Basketball Recap: Stuttgart Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Stuttgart, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past the Dumas Bobcats 63-39 on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 55-42 back in December of 2024.

Stuttgart's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.3 points per game. As for Dumas, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stuttgart will venture away from home to square off against Nettleton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Nettleton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Stuttgart likes a good challenge. As for Dumas, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Dumas Bobcats duke it out with the Central Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
