Owen Burnes posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. He struck out 12 batters over 6.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
