Basketball Recap: Hillcrest Takes a Loss

Hillcrest won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They lost 59-36 to the Woodmont Wildcats. The matchup marked the Rams' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Hillcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Woodmont, they moved to 11-10 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

The future could be bright for both Hillcrest and Woodmont: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Hillcrest will try to hand Greenwood their third-straight loss when the two meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Woodmont will look to extend Easley's five-game losing streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
