Dudney's 44-yard field goal with two seconds remaining and Josh Grady throws for 287 yards and three touchdowns lifting Armwood.

Kicker Darrell Dudney booted a 44-yard field goal with two seconds left, lifting the nation's No. 6 team Armwood (Seffner, Fla.) to a wild 22-20 win over No. 17 Dwyer in a Florida 4A state semifinal playoff game on Friday night.

According to tampbay.com, Dwyer had seemingly captured the heart-stopping game, scoring with 19.6 seconds to play on a 13-yard touchdown from Jacoby Brissett to Tommylee Lewis.

But Armwood drove right back field and Dudney delivered. Not that his coach Sean Callahan had a ton of faith in him.

"He's been very inconsistent," Callahan told Tampabay.com. "But you know what, when I decided to go for that field goal there, he had that look like he was going to make it, so I felt really good about it."

And so did Dudney, after making his game-winner. He was hoisted upon the shoulder of his teammates.

"It's just indescribable," Dudney told the newspaper. "I don't want to know what would've happened if I missed it."

Josh Grady threw for 287 yards and three touchdowns for the winners and teammate Matt Jones combined for 188 yards as Armwood moved into next week's state finals.
