A well-balanced attack led the Mercer Island Islanders over the Juanita Ravens in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Mercer Island blew Juanita out of the water with a 68-36 final score. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Mercer Island has managed all season.
Tristen Cruzen was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Syver Lanctot, who scored 11 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Mercer Island and bumps their season record up to 12-7. As for Juanita, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.
Mercer Island will head out on the road to square off against Bellevue at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bellevue will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive. Juanita does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
