Baseball Recap: Palacios Takes a Loss

Palacios was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Edna Cowboys. The Sharks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cowboys apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Trey Wexilman was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Palacios' defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Edna, they moved to 6-9 with that victory, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

While Palacios had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
