Baseball Game Preview: Edgerton Crimson Tide vs. Brodhead/Juda Cardinals

For the second straight game, Edgerton will face off against Brodhead/Juda. The Crimson Tide will be playing at home against the Cardinals at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Edgerton is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

While Edgerton didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 11-9 victory over Brodhead/Juda on Tuesday.

For Brodhead/Juda's part, Gabe Bockhop led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was Bockhop's first of the season. David Masloske was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four runs and one RBI.

Edgerton's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Brodhead/Juda, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4.
