Softball Recap: Spring Valley Comes Up Short

Spring Valley had taken Hurricane down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. The Timberwolves lost 11-3 to the Redskins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redskins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-2 two weeks ago.

Kennedy Davis was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Spring Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Hurricane, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Spring Valley has already played their next matchup, an 8-7 defeat against Cabell Midland on the 10th. As for Hurricane, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Riverside on the 10th.
