Football Game Preview: Landstown Eagles vs. Kellam Knights + How To Watch

The Landstown Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the Kellam Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Landstown will be strutting in after a win while Kellam will be coming in after a defeat.

Landstown is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past First Colonial to the tune of 69-14 on Thursday. The Eagles have beaten the Patriots the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Patriots has come to flipping the script.

Gabriel Williams went supernova, picking up 64 receiving yards and one score, while also punching in one touchdown on the ground.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Landstown proved: they limited First Colonial to a paltry -2.6 yards per carry. The Eagles didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.1.

Landstown didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Christian Linville and Ethen Hall.

Meanwhile, Kellam scored first but ultimately less than Kempsville in their matchup on Thursday. They lost 35-10 to the Chiefs. That makes it the first time this season the Knights have let down their home crowd.

Kellam's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Landstown, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-5.

Landstown beat Kellam 21-12 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
