Basketball Recap: Algonac Takes a Loss

Algonac lost against Imlay City back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Algonac Muskrats were dealt a 58-25 loss at the hands of the Imlay City Spartans.

Algonac has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Imlay City, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Algonac will venture away from home to face off against Richmond at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Imlay City, they will face off against North Branch at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Imlay City is facing North Branch at the right time seeing as North Branch is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
