Volleyball Recap: Bishop Hendricken Hawks vs. Chariho Chargers
Bishop Hendricken faced Chariho in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Hawks fell 3-1 to the Chargers. The Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.
The match was exciting from start to finish, as three sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-30, 26-24, 27-25, 25-21.
Andrew Ramos paced Bishop Hendricken's offense, picking up 23 kills. Ramos got some help from Benjamin Warr and his 45 assists. Ramos was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.
