It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Satsuma had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Straughn Tigers with a sharp 8-2 win. The Gators might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 matches by six runs or more this season.

Satsuma's victory bumped their record up to 30-20-3. As for Straughn, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-20 record this season.

Satsuma is on the road again on Thursday to play Jackson at 10:45 a.m. The Gators' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Aggies have averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season. Straughn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
