Soccer Recap: Ferris Takes a Loss

Ferris was the 2-0 winner over Kennedale when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Ferris Yellowjackets fell just short of the Kennedale Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 501st, while the Wildcats are ranked 250th).

Ferris' goal came courtesy of Abigail Andrade, which was the first she's scored this season.

Ferris dropped their record down to 1-5-3 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Kennedale, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Ferris wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-2 win against Venus on the 7th. As for Kennedale, they have also already played their next match, a 1-1 victory against Alvarado on the 7th.
