Basketball Recap: Plainfield North Takes a Loss

If Plainfield North was feeling good fresh off their 78-48 takedown of Bloomington on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Plainfield North Tigers took a 67-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Danville Vikings on Friday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Tigers came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 156th, while the Vikings are ranked 340th).

Plainfield North has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Danville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.
