Volleyball Recap: J.R. Tucker Comes Up Short

J.R. Tucker saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of the Western Branch Bruins by a score of 3-2. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, J.R. Tucker sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 23-25, 26-24, 22-25, 15-10.

J.R. Tucker's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Western Branch, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, J.R. Tucker will venture away from home to challenge Gloucester at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Western Branch, they will challenge Freeman at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
