Basketball Game Preview: Broaddus Bulldogs vs. Kennard Tigers

The Broaddus Bulldogs will challenge the Kennard Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Broaddus has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Friday, Broaddus didn't have too much trouble with Apple Springs as they won 72-56. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Kennard escaped with a win on Friday against Laneville by the margin of a single free throw, 1-0. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 765th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 1668th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kennard is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season. As for Broaddus, their victory bumped their record up to 23-10.

Broaddus skirted past Kennard 69-66 in their previous meeting back in January. Does Broaddus have another victory up their sleeve, or will Kennard turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
