Baseball Recap: New Haven Comes Up Short

New Haven blew Mott out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Mott got their revenge. The Rockets fell just short of the Marauders by a score of 4-2. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Rockets couldn't push the score so high this time.

New Haven saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zachary Hazley, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

New Haven's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Mott, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Haven will take on Center Line at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mott, they will challenge Fitzgerald at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
