Soccer Game Preview: Central vs. Zachary

The Central Wildcats will challenge the Zachary Broncos at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

While Central's victory against Morgan City wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats beat the Tigers by a goal, winning 2-1.

Meanwhile, Zachary unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak two weeks ago. They and Dutchtown finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The result kept Zachary happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 11, 2025.

Trinity Spence and Sophia Hebert scored both of Zachary's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Central now has a winning record of 8-7-1. Zachary's draw gives them a new season record of 8-3-2.
