Baseball Recap: Norristown Eagles vs. Bensalem Fighting Owls
Norristown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 18-6 to the Bensalem Fighting Owls. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Fighting Owls from their previous meeting back in March of 2018.
Matt Leary and Pete VanDyne did some serious damage despite the final result: Leary went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while VanDyne went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI VanDyne has posted since back in March of 2024.
