Robert Gilbert gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in April of 2024 on Friday. He made a splash, striking out six batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off seven hits (and only one walk). Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Mills back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock.
