Softball Preview: Heide Trask Titans vs. East Columbus Gators

Heide Trask is 2-8 against East Columbus since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Titans will square off against the Gators at 6:00 p.m. Heide Trask's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so East Columbus' hitters will have their work cut out for them.

The Titans never let the Stallions get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Thursday. Dava Bullard made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Naima Shepard, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Trinitee Odom was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
