Football Game Preview: Washington & Lee vs. Mathews

Washington & Lee will be defending their home turf for the first time on Thursday when they go up against Mathews at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.

Everything went Washington & Lee's way against Middlesex last Friday as they made off with a 41-7 win. Washington & Lee was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the rankings had forecast.

Meanwhile, Mathews found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-28 punch to the gut against Northampton last week.

Washington & Lee's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Mathews's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Washington & Lee can add another positive mark to their record or if Mathews can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Washington & Lee's step.
