Football Recap: Ben Britain's Menacing Defense Leads the Pingry School over Morristown-Beard

If Morristown-Beard wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played The Pingry School, they should've done a better job of containing Ryan Moye. The Big Blue strolled past the Crimson with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 29-13 with plenty of help from Moye, who rushed for 107 yards and one score on only six carries, and also threw for 162 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 14 passes. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 59 yards.

The Pingry School didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Ben Britain, Alex Finkelstein, and Matias Stevenson picked up one apiece.

The Pingry School now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Morristown-Beard, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

The Pingry School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Morristown-Beard, they will head out to square off against Riverdale Country at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Falcons' defense has only allowed 14 points per game this season, so the Crimson's offense will have their work cut out for them.
