Basketball Recap: Tempe Comes Up Short

Tempe lost against Greenway back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tempe Buffaloes were beaten by the Greenway Demons 59-24. The Buffaloes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tempe's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Greenway, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tempe will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dysart at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. After both having extra time off, Greenway and Goldwater will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Greenway is facing Goldwater at the right time seeing as Goldwater is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
