Soccer Recap: Alton Takes a Loss

Alton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Belleville East Lancers. That's two games in a row now that Alton have lost by exactly three goals.

Alton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Belleville East, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 5-6.

Alton didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 7-1 loss against Belleville West on the 17th. As for Belleville East, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Collinsville on the 17th.
