While Clovis East's victory against Buchanan wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Timberwolves skirted past the Bears 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Timberwolves.

Clovis East was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-22, 24-26, 25-21, 15-13.

Buchanan's loss on Tuesday came despite strong showings from Carlos Jay and John Soldani. Jay had seven digs and three aces, while Soldani had 18 digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Cole Haroldsen, who had 23 assists and eight digs.

Clovis East's win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Buchanan, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-12.
