Soccer Recap: San Rafael Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for San Rafael's offense. They fell just short of the Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

San Rafael's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-3. As for Tamalpais, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4-4.

San Rafael and Tamalpais could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. San Rafael (ranked 689th) will meet Archie Williams (ranked 234th) at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Tamalpais will take on Redwood at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday down 261 places (469 vs. 208).
