Greenup County won the last time they faced Portsmouth West and things went their way on Monday too. The Musketeers beat the Senators by a goal, winning 2-1. Given Greenup County's advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 146th in Kentucky, while Portsmouth West are ranked 477th in Ohio) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Greenup County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four matches. As for Portsmouth West, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6-1.

Portsmouth West will need to watch out since South Webster have now posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season.
