It was fun while it lasted, but Westside's undefeated season came to an end after six games on Wednesday. They lost 8-2 to the Laurens Raiders. The game marked the Rams' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Will Thomas made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run. That hit marked the first that he got this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Westside fell to 6-1. As for Laurens, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
