Post Falls proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 12) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Lewiston Bengals 10-9. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lexie McCarroll spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and seven unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, Post Falls got a big performance out of Rylan Morrison, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs Morrison has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Kulani Peahu-Michael, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.

Post Falls now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lewiston, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Post Falls beat the Bengals by a score of 11-5 later that day.
