Basketball Recap: Marshall Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Marshall can now relate to. They took a 64-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Izard County Cougars. The Bobcats have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Izard County, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 23-4.

Marshall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Izard County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-35 win against Tuckerman on the 22nd.
