Los Amigos extended their winning streak to five on Thursday, bumping them up to 13-2. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros a 5-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 19-2 on Tuesday.

As for Rancho Alamitos, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. Vaqueros fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Los Amigos since Thursday.

For Rancho Alamitos' part, they handed starting duties to Henry Garcia, who gave a strong showing despite the result: he struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Garcia has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Rancho Alamitos saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Ballesta, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.
