Game recap: Coachella Valley High School Football Team wins against West Valley

HEMET, Calif. - Coachella Valley (Thermal, Calif.) upset No. 498 West Valley (Hemet, Calif.) 41-28 on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a passing touchdown in the first quarter, the Arabs led 21-7 at the half.

Coachella Valley saw its 14-point halftime lead fall to 13 entering the fourth.

The loss comes after West Valley defeated Indio 71-0 last week.

In a non-conference game next week West Valley (1-1) takes on Paloma Valley, and Coachella Valley (1-0) will go up against Brawley also in a non-conference game.
