The home team had come away the winner the last five times Chatham and Maple Hill had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Panthers blew past the Wildcats 15-5 on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won nine in a row.

Owen Wilber was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game. Another player making a difference was Hunter Kelly, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Chatham always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. The last time their OBP was this high was was before the start of last season.

Chatham's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Maple Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.
