Nederland had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They skirted past the West Fork Gators 4-2.

The team relied heavily on Emmy Chambless, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one triple. That triple marked the first that she's hit this season.

Nederland was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Fork only posted a batting average of .200.
