Volleyball Recap: Braden River Wins Going Away Against Lemon Bay

Braden River not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Lemon Bay Manta Rays as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Manta Rays: they've now won five in a row.

Braden River never let Lemon Bay on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22, 25-19.

Chloe Pogoda paced Braden River's offense, picking up 14 kills. Pogoda got some help from Mia Mcguire and her 34 assists. Molly Lynch controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Braden River's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Lemon Bay, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 15-9.

Coming up, Braden River is taking a road trip to take on Bradenton Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lemon Bay, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Port Charlotte at 7:00 p.m.
